1. House of Learning CareExchange

Date: July 2008
Place: Duanzhou Zhaoqing, Sham Shui Po District HK
Content: Volunteers from House of Learning and Guangdong Women’s Association visited schools in Duanzhou. We did stage performance and gave stationeries to children and also visited some orphans. After coming back to HK, we went to Society for Community in Sham Shiu Po District, gave free tutorials to underprivileged children and had home visits.

2. Guangdong Women Volunteers Training Program

“The Power of Volunteer Service” Training
Date: 20-22 nd July 2008
Place: Zhaoqing Juncheng Hotel
Content: We provided trainings focused on mobile library project and equipped them with essential skills to hold the project.

Practical Training
Date: 22-26 th July 2008
Place: Hong Kong
Content: Volunteers came to Hong Kong to hold a service project to help underprivileged children as practical training.
